At Integral Thread, there are endless possibilities when it comes to customization. It can be overwhelming when thinking about rug choices, but we are here to help navigate that process. If you can’t find what you are looking for within our vast stock of inventory, we will design it. Read on to learn about all the options you have for customizing your rug.
Find the rug design you love, but tailor the colors to your palette. Our design community has a keen eye and loves to play with our color poms. We have thousands of colors to choose from in our pom boxes to create the perfect masterpiece for your space.
Our rugs may be shown in certain materials, but swapping them out to another material is a breeze. We can easily take a wool & silk rug and make it 100% wool in your areas that need more durability. Or you want a more luxurious underfoot experience? No problem! We can add varying percentages of silk to different areas of a rug to give you the sheen and softness you desire. We have many different natural fibers to choose from and all of our rugs can be made in any of our offered fibers.
We offer many different rugs in various styles and weaving techniques. Much of our inventory can be created in various constructions. Many people love the look of flat weaves, but they want something more plush underfoot. We can take that flat weave design and translate it into a rug that has a thicker pile and increased softness. We encourage pushing the limits, asking questions and digging to get exactly what you want. We always say, “it can’t hurt to ask.” Because we work directly with our weavers overseas, we have the creative control to make dreams into a reality.
We can order a rug in any size needed including custom shapes. We make ovals, circles, U-shapes and much more. We offer templating services for stair runners and also unique spaces where we have to follow certain angles of walls and windows. If you have a challenging space and aren’t sure how to handle it, we are here to help with on-site measures and templating.
While designing and ordering a custom rug is an exciting journey, it can also be a daunting process.
